The Management Board is the body that takes strategic decisions related to the project (see Figure 1). It is composed by the following key persons:
Principal Investigator: takes the overall responsibility of the project and the supervision of the scientific and technological activities.
Project Scientist: leads the development of the scientific program.
Project Manager: responsible for the operational management of the project.
Instrument Scientist: follows up the development of the instrument, on hardware and software sides, to ensure the compliance with the scientific objectives.
System Engineer: is the technical lead of the project and supervises the instrument design and development activities.
Software System Engineer: supervises the software development tasks and verifies the consistency among all software subsystems.
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
The WBS contains the structured breakdown of all the project activities (see Figure 2). To each Work Package is assigned a Work Package Manager.
